Partners in Research

Faculty in the College of Natural Science collaborate across traditional boundaries in a wide array of research initiatives ranging from nanotechnology to the origins of the Universe and from gene expression to the bioeconomy. Media Spotlights Holekamp

Zoology professor Kay Holekamp and her research on spotted hyenas was featured in the May 2008 edition of Smithsonian magazine as well as on WKAR Radio. Holekamp is adjunct curator of zoology at the MSU Museum - Michigan’s first Smithsonian affiliate.
